The beach is an official beach with a lifeguard but it's usually empty which makes it perfect for frum families

You can also explore the sand dunes and try to slide on them with a sled or just run down them

Getting there

take route 3 south from latrun towards Ashkelon, just before Ashkelon turn left onto route 4 south yad Mordechai, then turn right onto 3411 zikim. travel time from Jerusalem is a little over an hour.

there is plenty of parking and it's free.
