Description

This is a hike that's very built up and has a very well marked easy to follow  trail.

There is a steep ascent and lots of stairs and ladders to climb.

There is water and a waterfall but you can't go in to it.

the hike should take an hour to an hour and a half.

Ein avdat is a national park with an admissions fee of 28 NIS for adulta and 14 NIS for kids

Getting there

Take the 6 south to the 40 follow the signs to your destination.

Make sure to go to the entrance and not to the upper parking lot.

Travel time is 1 hour 50 minutes.

 

Trail

The trail is well marked and easy to follow, they have maps at the entrance.​

The trail is not circular so unless you have two cars someone will have to go back and move the car to the upper parking lot where the trail ends (that's where old folk come in handy)
