Description

 in the summer after the sun sets the light and sound show in Masada takes place. 

the show is projected on the mountain and depicts the heroic story of masada.

also the place and the road leading to it are one of the best places in Israel to go stargazing even a novice can recognize the milky way, the big dipper and in the right time of year Jupiter and Saturn, you can come with or without a map and prepare to be amazed!

The light show takes place at Masada camp site on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the summer at 9 and 10 o'clock the price is 50 for adults and 40 for kids

Getting there

getting to masada camp site is only possible from arad on a long dark windy road. note that it is impossible to get there from Masada national park and route 90.

travel south on route 6 (it's free in the south) to the 31 arad you have to go through the city and then take the 3199 to masada west light show
