Description

Also known as the yerucham crater, this place is beautiful.  It has giant cliffs, and a great place to watch the stars.​

There is colorful sand the kids can collect (bring your own glass for a beautiful souvenir) and you can drive through in the car.

We didn't do any hiking but there are plenty of trails you can check out

Getting there

head south on the 6 (it's free in the south) to the 40 passed beer sheva then take the left on the 224 yerucham, turn left 0n the 204 and following the signs to the makhtesh then right again, skirt the town to the 225 to the makhtesh

Travel time is about 2 hours.
