Description

At the museum there is a movie and various artifacts telling the story of ilan ramon, the first and only israeli astronaut.

You'll also learn about the geology and history of the crater and get a spectacular view of the crater below you.

It's not a must do but if you're in the area and have time especially if you don't want to hike, this is a good idea

They have tours in both English and Hebrew.

admission is 28 NIS for adults and 14 NIS for kids unless you have a pass.

Getting there

Head south on the 6 to the 40 and follow it to mitzpe rammon.

from Jerusalem it's 2 hours and 20 minutes.
